Egyptian Birds

While we were at lunch, the Egrets were keeping an eye on our table for a chance to join us.  We set our scraps out on the table behind us and what appeared to be a family swooped in to pick at the bones.  One dominant bird took the job of parceling out the pieces for the others.




We had seen some other birds in a tree nearby but they didn't come in close.


And we see this hawk-like bird from our balcony from time to time.
