Downtown Denver

Monday's rain was intermittent so we did have an opportunity to walk around outside and see a few buildings. Our first stop, of course was the Capitol.

Denver has a beautiful mall with the Capitol building on one end and the City-County government center on the opposite end. There are a variety of other public building fronting on the mall and nearby you will find the museums and library.

The City-County building is particularly attractive.

Only a couple of blocks away, you will also find the Denver Mint. We didn't have time to arrange a tour.
