We have had a few overnight lows in the 40s here but no precipitation. That changed yesterday when we heard something clattering out on the front balcony. It was hailing.

There was enough of it to actually pile up along the Ring Road. Traffic soon backed up on the far side.

It only lasted a few minutes, but the temperature dropped to 53.

An hour later, the sun was out and our winter was over.
