The road into Valley City offered us another photo opportunity for the "airplane on a stick" series of blog posts.
An F-104 Starfighter is displayed prominently in the memorial park along the loop from I-94 into the Rosebud Visitor Center. This stubby-winged fighter, capable of Mach 2 speed, is instantly recognizable to any aircraft enthusiast.
