Airplane on a Stick - Milton, Florida

We were driving through Milton late this afternoon on Stewart Street when we passed the High School.  Hey, an airplane on a stick!
T-28-1

This one is pretty easy to identify. It's a T-28B, Trojan.
T-28-3

Wikipedia reports that the T-28 first flew in 1949 with almost 2,000 built between 1950 and 1957.  The "T" designates it as a trainer and Wikipedia also notes that the largest concentration of T-28s was at nearby Whiting Field where it was used for training naval aviators.  Note the sign out in front of the airplane.  The local commanding officer's name is on the side of the plane among others.

Here are a couple of better views of the plane.
