Things Are Just Bigger in Texas

After leaving Hope, Arkansas, we soon reached Texarkana. This city sits right on the Arkansas-Texas border and if the song is correct, just about a mile from Louisiana.

We dropped in at the Texas Visitor's Center and picked up the 272 page book titled the Texas State Travel Guide. The Center had a television with the Weather Channel on, as some other states do. I couldn't help but notice that the weather forecaster was life-sized!
