We are having a brief cold spell! Temperatures only got up to about 58 on the past two days and last night it was down to 48 after a cloudy day. It seems quite cold for mid-March; we had been opening the windows regularly at night for the previous week when day time temps were in the 80s.
Tired of chicken for dinner every evening, we headed down the street to buy a pizza. With a strong wind blowing, most people had on serious winter wear, heavy jackets and scarves wrapped tightly around their necks and heads.
The large pizza cost just over $4.00, fully loaded.
Nothing extra for the "pickles" and ketchup. (Those yellow items are slightly pickled potatoes - they taste like potato salad.) The pepper is definitely hot. For some unknown reason, pizza is always served with ketchup. It definitely does not taste like Heinz ketchup or even Hunts catsup, but it was a pleasant sweet tasting addition to the pizza or the potatoes.
